LONG-STANDING PARTNERSHIP HONOURED AS TUDOR TRUST VISITS FPC

 

Fambidzanai Permaculture Centre (FPC) was honoured to receive representatives from the Tudor Trust on an appreciation visit to mark 30 years of partnership in institutional development bringing together representatives from the Tudor Trust and FPC staff to celebrate and acknowledge their long-standing collaboration.

The purpose of the visit was to recognize the sustained support and strong relationship built over three decades, and to see firsthand how the Centre has grown and strengthened through this partnership.
On the sidelines of the visit, Tudor Trust representative Mark Donwell highlighted the significance of their long-term partnership with Fambidzanai Permaculture Centre, he noted that working with FPC over the years has indeed strengthened the Centre’s infrastructure and also expanded its outreach and community impact.

“Our relationship with Fambidzanai has been foundational, over the past 30 years, we have witnessed the Centre grow into a strong, sustainable institution, and we are proud to have played a part in supporting its development and outreach work,” said Donwell.
During the visit, both parties reflected on the journey they have taken together, highlighting key milestones, the resilience shown through challenging times, and the shared commitment to sustainable development.


The visit also included a tour of the Centre, the permaculture gardens, and the Soil Laboratory, where Tudor Trust representatives observed first-hand the progress in institutional development, sustainable farming techniques, and the role of soil testing and analysis in improving agricultural productivity.
The Tudor Trust expressed sincere appreciation for the Centre’s dedication, accountability, and the tangible results achieved through their collaboration.
