After attending an eye-opening exchange visit on traditional seed saving and multiplication at Mhakwe community seed bank in Chimanimani, Lenias Garisamoyo, a lead farmer from Nyaminyami (ward4), is walking the talk. He is about to complete his own household seed bank to ensure his family’s food sovereignty and climate resilience.

As a champion of agroecology, Garisamoyo continues to lead by example, showing that real transformation begins at home.
Through this practical demonstration, his initiative will not only safeguard our indigenous seed diversity but also inspire other neighboring farmers to embrace sustainable practices rooted in knowledge exchange.
