Fambidzanai Permaculture. Centre is seeking the services of interested reputable companies or businesses who render solar system and irrigation installation services to submit their tender bids for solarised borehole pumping and irrigation system installation services to be rendered in Chimanimani, shortly. The solar borehole and irrigation systems are intended to be installed at Tagarirwa village community garden, Ward 8 if Chimanimani District in Manicaland province.

The contractor is expected to recommend a cost-effective, durable, low maintenance, and efficient solar pumping, and irrigation system for the community garden and should be guided by the following details:

• Capacity test details and summary results
• Average pumping rate of 8000 litres water per hour
• Targeted pumping rate of 5000 litres of water per hour
• The rest water level of 9 metres
• Depth of casing during testing at 38 metres
• Borehole diameter of 125 millimetres
• Total borehole 40 metre depth.
• Pump size used for test: 3HP
• Garden size is 1.77 hectares
• At least 10 garden water taps
• The expected number of beneficiaries in the garden is 60

• Commendable experience with regards to supply of similar services
